About Me: Nolu Mpekelana

I am an experienced technology professional and leader with a career that spans 11 years across the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Higher Education and Natural Energy sectors. I am an alumnus of the University of Cape Town, where I am also a current MCom Information Systems candidate. I love research and  current advancements in the field of technology.  My career journey started from the humble beginnings of a help-desk  environment, I am a true believer of excellence. That you can achieve anything you set your mind to do.

I am a social entrepreneur who has founded public benefit organisations that have made an impact in the lives of the communities and sectors which they serve. Also a founding member of Inside Out Mentors as well as a co-founder of ICT On Heels.  I am heavily invested in offering support and mentoring to young women.

I write about topics in ICT,  career growth, corporate life and general lifestyle.   I am a mother, a wife, a daughter and a sister who loves reading, running and traveling.
